Surprise Party

Our granddaughter, Ashley, had a surprise birthday party for her husband, Justin, on Saturday evening. Justin has reached the quarter century mark. This was my first attempt with my new camera. I decided to forego the special effects until I become more familiar `with the basics. Erin did help me take the photo of Kellie with the special effects. Ashley did a great job of planning the party. She fell down the steps last week and tore a ligament. The baby is fine.

Ashley and Justin are expecting their second child, a girl, in February.
This is Brooke with Mason, Ashley and Justin's son.

I love the effect that your camera does. My daughter does this with photoshop but it would be cool to have it on the camera! You have such a nice family and it looks like there was enough fun to go around! Happy Birthday to Justin and thanks for letting me come to "your world" for the party! LOL!

You have a lovely family and I know it is quite large. How do you celebrate the holidays? It would be interesting to hear.
I was the second of 4 children and the middle girl. Somehow, I've become the one they all turn to instead of my older sister. They say it is because I am the most like Mother.
Our family has grown to be around 35 or 40. We're never all there at a get together, though.
My immediate family, only consists of the 3 children and 7 grands plus spouses for a total of 15. We're seldom all together.

Dear Sweetie, Thank you so much for the sweet comment you left at my blog.It was so nice to meet you.

We have much in common. You have a wonderful beautiful family. So do I. I have four grown sons and a grown daughter. They are our life. We have 20 Grandchildren. They are life's greatest joy. We now have five Great Grandchildren. They are blessings on to of blessings. We hope to have many more of them. Those are from two grandchilren, the only ones who are married. But we are waiting.

I was so sorry to read about your daughter's death. I can only imagine the grief that brought to your heart and life. My prayers are for you and your family.

I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving. connie from Texas
