Pink Saturday

Thank you, Beverly for hosting Pink Saturday. Please visit Beverly at
http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ to celebrate Pink Saturday.

Some of My Treasures

I collect porcelain dolls. Until we have shelves built in the spare bedroom, most of my collection is stored in the attic. I do display a several of my very special dolls.
Meet Sadye. She is a gift from our daughter, Jennifer. Jennifer bought her a few years ago when she went to the beach with some of her sisters. I love Sadye's lifelike features.

Meet Michelle. She was a Christmas gift from our daughter, Sherry. Sherry bought the same doll for her daughter, Brooke. When she saw how much I liked Brooke's doll, she bought the a doll for me. Michelle's delicate detailed feet fascinate me.

This is the anniversary card that my husband Johnny gave me for our anniversary in June. The pink in the flowers stands out among the other colors. When I open the card, it plays beautiful music. I keep the card on my vanity.

I have three porcelain dolls that I made. One I gave my mom and I got it back when she passed away. She's dressed in pink so I guess I can do another Pink Saturday post some day! I love your dolls and the one Sherry gave you has got to be priceless to you! Thanks for sharing. I love the card too. What a sweet husband.

Hi Sweetie! This is my first visit to your world. My goodness, you have a gorgeous family!

I love dolls also and once collected them...I still display them, but try to not buy them now.

I don't know you, but I'm thinking you must be a strong lady - always going forward. I don't know that I would have that resolve should I lose one of our daughters.

Blessings to you and your family.
Deborah

What precious dolls! They look so real! I love the card from your hubby, the words are so sweet. Doesn't it just touch your heart when they pick out a card like that? Can't you just picture him standing in the card store searching for just the right one for his precious wife? My sweet hubby takes the time to do that for me, and it just means so much to me.

I'm so sorry about your loss, I pray that the case is solved soon, and I pray for comfort and strength for you and your family.

Margie :)
