Happy Blue Monday
Blue is the color of calmness, security, of ‘dreamlike yearnings’, of distance, therefore ‘divinity’ ‘spirituality’. It is also the symbol of fidelity, faithfulness.
This dried blue hydrangea arrangement was made by my friend, Sue. I saw the hydrangeas in her shop and fell in love with them. Withing five minutes, she had designed this lovely arrangement.
I collect all kinds of angels. I have a corner curio cabinet filled with them. I especially like this angel who is dressed in blue.
This blue pitcher belonged to my mother-in-law. I use it for a vase. Flowers look elegant in the pitcher. This cruet is lovely. It is filled with a wonderful smelling potpourri and tied with blue satin ribbon.
I hope that everyone enjoyed my Blue Monday treasures. I'd like to thank Sallie at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/ for hosting Blue Monday. Please visit Sallie and find your way to some wonderful Blue Monday posts.

I ADORE all of your blue items this week! I wonder how your friend got the hydrangeas to stay blue. Mine fade after a month when they are dried.
Your friend is gifted to be able to make something so lovely in such a short time. I enjoyed your blue tour, especially that pitcher. I hope you have more for next week.
Happy Blue Monday!
Very beautiful Blue Monday! My daughter collects Angels too and she'd love this one!
Happy Blue Monday!
Come see my post today, I've tagged you!
Your blue angel is breathtaking! All your blue is. I see you like buttons. Do you know about the button floozies? It is a fun site.
I love hydrangeas. I have a friend like that who can whip up a lovely arrangement in no time. I tend to agonize over the placement of almost every flower, so i don't think arranging is for me! I admire people who do it so well.
Love the cruet with the blue satin ribbon.
Happy Blue Monday. I love hydrangeas!

The hydrangea is awesome. I've tried growing them and manage to kill them off every time. But they're beautiful while they last.

Love all the beautiful blue items especially the pitcher. I too collect angels. Thank you for stopping by my blog, I feel such a familaiarity over here at your blog. I too have the definition for success on my side bar and for years wore a gold necklace and bought one for all my friends that said live, love and laugh! Nice to meet you.
You have a beautiful family. I am terribly sorry about your daughter Sherry Jo. That must be still so raw, especially coming up to the anniversary date of her passing.
