Bloomin' Tuesday
Labor Day is often called "the last day of summer." We are already seeing beautiful colored mums and the leaves are beginning to fall in our neighborhood. I am usually the last person on the block to cut back and pull out my beautiful summer flowers and surrender to autumn. The lavender and wave petunias are not mine - they belong to a friend. I am planning my spring planting and lavender will be included. Also, next year I will plant more calibrachoa. They take little care and stay beautiful.

Your flowers are so beautiful! I hate to see them go at summers end.
I'm so sorry about your daughter. My heart goes out to you and your family
I love your flowers. I really hated to do it. But, I dumped a lot of mine today. I have to start preparing for winter. I need my hubbies help emptying those huge pots. Football starts next week and then I won't be able to drag him away from the tv. Stop by my blog when you get a chance. I have an award for you.
What pretty plants you have...it would be hard to let them go. I think of you often and pray for justice to come swiftly.

You must really have a green thumb. I certainly doooooo not. I love all the beautiful flowers. I wanted to put lavender in this year and never did it. Maybe next year. I just have a hard time believing it is September already.

Happy Bloomin Tuesday! That big pink hanging ball of blooms really takes my eye!
Sweetie,
Wish I could keep ferns alive!!!
Yours are beautiful!
I love the different colors of calibrachoa mini-petunia!!! I might have to try that-I don't do well with petunias-but the minis seem to work well. Your blooms are so pretty!
So much beautiful color! Love the calibrachoa. I could never pull up blooming plants. Great Bloomin' Tuesday post!

Hi Sweetie :)

I've never seen the Calibrachoa before..the colors are wonderful!!
Yessss, I'm doing it also, but I only put the positive things in! True but positive. I've read about your daughter and am soooo sad that happened to you. I don't have any clue what I would do if something like that happened to our family, sweetie chick. You have my deepest sympathies.
Smoochies and lots of hugs for you and hubs,
Connie
Hello Sweetie, love your pictures of all that color! Your ferns are gorgeous too. Everytime I come to your blog I see that picture of your sweet daughter and my heart just cries for you.
love, Ann
Here in the south, we don't plant our Pansies until late in October. Too much warm temperatures until then. I have never heard of the one flower you mentioned, the purple & varigated ones.
I am leaving my pots of summer flowers here for a while until the house sales. I may buy or plant some to display at the new house. I have a few empty planters. I miss the color of flowers. The former owner didn't garden so there are no beds in back at all.
