Happy Labor Day

Saturday evening was the last night of races at Cove Speedway. We attend the races every Saturday of the racing season. Our grandson, Joey, came in second in his group of lites. He is also #1 in points and will receive his trophy at a banquet in November. We are looking forward to attending the banquet.

We will celebrate Labor Day with our daughters and their families with a family picnic at our house. I hope that it's warm enough to get in one last swim for the summer. Our schools start the day after Labor Day so it will be quiet both in the neighborhood and at our house. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day!

Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold. But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow.
