I love collecting. Several years ago, I began collecting buttons. I have new buttons, old buttons, big buttons, small buttons. Buttons tell stories. I have buttons that were on my grandfather's World War I uniform, buttons that were on my great-grandmother's clothing, and buttons that were on my children's clothing. I filled up this enormous jar, two sewing boxes, and now am filling smaller jars. I've also given many buttons to my family and friends.

Your buttons are so pretty and it will be fun to sort through them all this winter. I am also a collector. I like clocks and pottery, and books. I could go on and on.
OMG!! Does that remind me of my great-grandmother. I always.. loved her button jar!! I could play with her buttons for hours!! Please.. stop by!! You have been tagged!!! Hugs, Terrie
Hey sweetie! I love old buttons and my sister collects them also....she has old antique mason jars full of them and even gave me a jar full once! They can be used in so many ways...they are beautiful on old pieces of lace in a shadow box frame with vintage pictures or cards...thanks for coming by and visiting...hope it has been a great day for you girl...take care and have a beautiful week!
Hi Sweetie~
I love buttons, too. I just inherited my great grandmothers jar of buttons and when my grandpa retired 2 years ago, my grandmother took the buttons off of his workshirt and added them to the jar. They are priceless.
Take care!
Hugs~ J
Hey there Sweetie,
Love all of your buttons. I'm a button collector too! Are you a Button Floozie member? If you're not you probably should be. :0) It's a lot of fun to do show and tell with our collections.
Have a great week,
Stephanie
That's what I keep telling myself about all of my buttons! I want to put them in some Mason jars sorted by color and style.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have a passion for buttons too. I hope you enjoy sorting through yours and find lots of interesting things to do with them.
I can't tell you how sorry I was to read about your beautiful daughter. I felt such a shock of sorrow. I can only send you a big hug from Australia.
