Sunday Morning

I am an early morning riser. I love to sit on the patio, breath in the fresh air, and drink a leisurely cup of coffee before going to church. As always, I enjoyed church this morning. I listen to the homily and think about how I need to improve my self. The music was beautiful - all songs of which I am particularly fond. After church, I changed clothes and took my daily walk to the cemetery to water Sherry's flowers. It is a comfort that the cemetery is only a block away. After my visit with Sherry, I took a walk around the neighborhood. I love our neighborhood. We know almost everyone and they are all so friendly. We live in a small town (maybe 3,000). Our home is almost on the outskirts of town. We have a double lot which is nice.
These are Cindy's flowers. She and her husband are outside working every evening. They have done a lot of landscaping.

This is the front of Helen's house. The picture does not do the flowers justice. Helen has a beautiful pond in her back yard.

This is the front of Jean's house. She has such a wonderful touch. I love the bench.

These are flowers that border Kathy's yard. Her zinnias are beautiful. For some unknown reason, mine died this year - could it be the bunny rabbits?

These are the Mowery's roses. I took the picture in the alley behind there house. Roses border the end of their lot.

I really enjoyed my walk around the neighborhood. I have a meeting tomorrow afternoon and a meeting tomorrow evening - so I will have a hectic Monday. I have some grandchildren coming later for hamburgers, hot dogs, and a swim. I love having them here. Have a wonderful Sunday!!

Hi Sweetie, I enjoyed my walk with you. There are a lot of nice flowers in your neighborhood. Sweetie I'm so sorry about your lost, I know how you feel as I have been there myself. It's a long hard road dealing with the loss of a child, we just have to take our time, and seek the help of the Lord. My Thursday's post speaks of the way that I've learned to handle it all. It doesn't take away the fact that I miss my daughter so, but it helps to know the the Lord is in control. I pray with you, and for you. Deb

Sweetie,

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. You are welcomed anytime! :)my heart goes out to you in regards to your precious daughter. I can most certainly relate to what you are going through. An untimely death is so very difficult to deal with. I find dealing with my feelings and talking about it helps me alot. Blogging is so therapuetic... finding Deb, and now you gives me more strength to deal with my loss. I hope I can offer you the same strength!

I read that genealogy is one of your hobbies... well guess what? :) Genealogy is my favorite hobby! :) I hope we get to talk about it real soon!
