Happy Pink Saturday

These are the two pieces of Depression Glass that I bought at the Family Estate auction. I love the glow cast when the light hits them.

I love candles and have them all over the house although I only burn them in the kitchen. The candles have such a nice scent that there is a hint of the fragrance is in the air even when they are not burning. I do like to burn tarts in a tart burner in the great room. My favorite tarts are McCalls and they have just recently been sold locally. This cake candle smells like cranberries.
This is one of the angels in my collection.
This is one of the bears in my Boyd's collection.

Thank you Beverly for again hosting wonderful Pink Saturday. Please join Beverly at

Good morning and a Happy Pink Saturday to you.

I love your two pieces that you got at the sale. They are exquisite.

The candle I have burning now is Indonesian Ginger, and it smells divine.

Your little bear is so sweet.

I've always liked Depression glass. I don't own any though. Your pieces are beautiful. I like to burn candles also especially in the winter when it gets dark early. I can't smell them but want my house to smell good. I mostly lean toward vanilla, baked apple, and mulled cider. I so need to post my bears. I have most of them unpacked now.

I love that bear. Sooo cute. My Granddaughters called their Grandpa Bear. He died in 1992 of cancer. Your depression glass is really beautiful. I have a very large bowl that was my Mom's. I will have to show it one of these days. Your angel is watching over you I am sure. You have another one also. I am thinking of you.

I've heard of depression glass but don't remember seeing any. I didn't realize it was pink!! Fun post. I have some Boyd's Bears figuerines and I love them. I have a bear or two but don't really collect them. I really like your items you shared today :) Smiles!

P.S. I wish you lived closer too bz I think we'd get along great!! Thanks for your nice comments on my blog. As far as "busy lady," did you see absolutely nothing except worrying got done on my list?! LOL! I have high hopes that someday I'll get everything done I want! LOL! People tell me it never happens though. I'm just glad everyone was okay after the wreck. Cars can eventually (I stress the eventually) be replaced but people can't. Have a great weekend.

Sweetie, I am late with my comments but it's better than never. I love all your pink show here. The depression glass is always a treasure. That first piece is extra pretty in shimmering pink. I like the candle and cranberry smells so good. However the bear is my favorite. Next is your angel. Nice post Sweetie.

Lovely *pink* treasures! I love your *pink* Depression glass pieces, they're beautiful!

Mason in the post below looks so adorable eating his tomatoes! My 3 yr old niece loves them too and must be watched around the plants, she'll pick them and eat them before they're ready!

Have a lovely day!
