Dear Sweetie,
I was stopping by for a visit this morning and had no idea that I would see my name! Thank you for the very sweet award. You are so dear.
Your Mother's china and crystal is so beautiful. What a treasure. I remember when I was first married and my husband and I had chosen our good china, my Mother made me promise that we would use it every Sunday, even if we were eating hot dogs. We were still in school at the time and that is exactly what we did. Every Sunday our Lennox china and Waterford crystal came out and we set the table with the only two place settings of sterling silver that we owned. Very often...it was either hot dogs or spaghetti.
Thanks, Sweetie.
I came over by the way of Bears In Exile. I'm just out blog hopping this morning, was reading through your blog so I thought I would pause for a moment to let you know you had a visitor. I am enjoying my visit, you have a very nice blog.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Hi Sweetie...your mom's dishes are so lovely, wonderful pieces to cherish. I have my granma's china and when I use them I have wonderful memories of family gatherings and happy times too...hugs, Linda
First, thanks for the award, i will post it when I get back. I love your Mom's china. I have only a couple pieces from my Mom. They never had money for anything really good but I have a hugh fruit bowl and I love it. If Heidi didn't live so far away, she would have it. Have a great day.
Nancy
Hello Sweetie, wanted you to know how much I admire your blog. It gave me chills though to read about your daughter. How cruel. I'm from a big family and my dad was from a family of 15, so family gatherings have always been a big event in my upbringing. I want to add you to my blog list if you don't mind. It is a beautiful blog you have made.
Hugs,
Chris
Hi dear Sweetie...I'm always so glad to drop by your blog and lo & behold I see you've given me an award...THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! I'm so proud to read of the love behind your parent's treasures...wish I could have said the same...but my mother left my wonderful dad, my 2 brothers and me when I was only 7 years old...supposedly for the man of her dreams only to be dumped by him later on...what goes around comes around, huh?!
Oh Sweetie, you are just the best!! I am so honored that you chose me as one of your receipients for the BFF Gold Card Award. It means so much to me that you would do that. What a great new friend you are. Hugs to you!!!
Kim
