These blue mixing bowls are really useful - and they're my favorite color.
I am a Boyd's collector. This little fellow is one of my favorites
with his pretty bow and his blue feet.
This lovely creationwas in a box of linens that I purchased at an estate sale. I was at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago and, although, I have several sets of glasses, I loved the blue too much to resist. My daughter made this pillow for me. It says a lot. I hope that everyone enjoyed my Blue Monday posts. I am excited to look at the posts of the participants. I'd like to thank Sallie at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/
for hosting Blue Monday.
Please visit Sallie and find your way to some wonderful Blue Monday posts

The truth is it doesn't match a thing on my porch and if my dh didn't love it so much, it would be history. What we do to keep our husbands happy. lol Have a great day.

I have been blessed with six daughters, 16 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. My husband, Johnny, who was my best friend and soulmate, passed away unexpectedly on December 14. Every other Sunday our large family gets together at our house and celebrate "Family Sunday." I retired two years ago but still work occasionally.
Our oldest daughter, Sherry Jo, was brutally murdered on November 25, 2007. An arrest has not been made.

Our Travels
During the past several years Johnny and I loved to travel. Our very favorite vacation spot was Cape Cod which we visited almost every year for the last 13 years. We also took our grandchildren on short trips in Pennsylvania among which were the Grand Cayon, Pennsylvania and Gettysburg.

Orlando
We had a wonderful time in Orlando and rented a car and drove to Tallahassee to visit my dearest friend.
