Thank you Beverly for hosting Pink Saturday. It is such a fun activity and a wonderful opportunity to meet new blogger friends and to visit current blogger friends! Please join Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ to celebrate Pink Saturday.
This is a very special grape wine wreath that was handmade by my friend, Sue. She added an old picture frame that had belonged to her mother. There is an antique button on the brown ribbon. Best of all is the vintage silent butler with the beautiful hand painted pink flowers. This wreath really works well with my new eclectic style of decorating. I will be at the estate auction of my husband's parents' on Saturday. There is a very special crock that I hope to purchase. I will catch up with all of the Pink Saturday posts on Sunday.
Good luck on getting the crock you want. I hope you have good weather for it also. It is a little bit rainy here in Ohio, but supposed to clear up and be nice. We are in the 50's in the morning now. Nancy
Hi Sweetie...What a clever friend you have that made the charming wreath. I am sure this day will be very nostalgic for you and hubby seeing family items being sold...sure hope you get the things you want... ;-) Bo

I hope you were able to purchase the item that you wanted at the estate sale. Thanks for your kind words on my blog. I have had a ton of fun with the side bar and adding and removing things so I'm glad someone else looks at it once in awhile too! Oh, I really like your wreath that you've posted!
I have been blessed with six daughters, 16 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. My husband, Johnny, who was my best friend and soulmate, passed away unexpectedly on December 14. Every other Sunday our large family gets together at our house and celebrate "Family Sunday." I retired two years ago but still work occasionally.
Our oldest daughter, Sherry Jo, was brutally murdered on November 25, 2007. An arrest has not been made.

Our Travels
During the past several years Johnny and I loved to travel. Our very favorite vacation spot was Cape Cod which we visited almost every year for the last 13 years. We also took our grandchildren on short trips in Pennsylvania among which were the Grand Cayon, Pennsylvania and Gettysburg.
