Happy Pink Saturday

I love beautiful dishes and tea cups. When I go to yard sales, flea markets, and auctions, I am always on the lookout for something new. I have just started to hang some of my favorite plates on a wall. I found plate hangers at the Dollar Tree so purchased several. I hope to get one of my creative friends to help me with the arrangement.

I bought this plate at a yard sale that was set up along the highway. I like the pinks in the flowers and the edging of the plate.
I bought this plate at a small vintage and antique shop. The owner of the shop had bought an 8 piece place setting and this plate of a different pattern was among pieces that were part of the set. This is one of my favorites.
I bought this plate at my friend's shop. It had belonged to her great-aunt. I love this tea cup and saucer. As you can see, I bought it for a dollar. I guess that I missed the price tag when I washed the cup.
This cup is very tiny. I bought it at an Amish shop.

Thank you Beverly for again hosting wonderful Pink Saturday. Please join Beverly at

I have seen so many pink dishes since I have been blogging, I don't remeber one pink dish in my house. I'll look when I get home. I used to have about 80 pieces of pink depression glass, but a few years ago I gave that to my oldest daughter.

Your pink Sat. is quite nice. I bet your dishes are going to look very pretty when you get them all hung. Hope you have a good weekend. I just did a blog entry from Myrtle Beach.

Pretty, pretty dishes and teacups! I think I have some of the same dishes as the one in your first picture, I believe they were my grandmothers.

I'm still trying to make my way through the *pink* posts!
