Bloomin Tuesday

The beautiful leaves are the flowers of autumn.
We live in a small town but are fortunate to have this view from our front porch.
Even after last night's heavy frost, I still have my ferns and a few mums. I also have a lot of raking to do. We have two huge maple trees in front of our house. The smallest tree sheds its leaves first.
"In the other gardens
And all up the vale,
From the autumn bonfires
See the smoke trail.
Pleasant summer over
And all the summer flowers,
The red fire blazes,
The gray smoke towers.
Sing a song of seasons!
Something bright in all,
Flowers in the summer
Fires in the fall!"-
Robert Louis Stevenson, Autumn Fires

Thank you, Jean of http://msgreenthumbjean.blogspot.com/ for hosting Bloomin' Tuesday. To see some beautiful blooms, visit Jean. She's a wonderful hostess!!

I just love the color of trees in teh autumn. Your view from the front porch is just amazing. I miss front porches as we don't have them here in Holland.

So glad that you and my mother were able to talk. I know it was as it should be that you found her online. I told her that it will do some good to what happened to Fawn to be able to support you now. There is always good in bad but it just takes a sometimes a little while to find it. My mother and I are closer than even before.

Hugs ~

What a gorgeous view. You are so lucky to live in a place where you can see the trees and leaves turn different colors. It never happens here in Southern California!
Happy Blooming Tuesday
