Red Hat Society Again

This is the lovely antique/vintage/craft shop that is located in the former Workman's Store in Rockhill Furnace. The Red Hat Society visited the shop after our luncheon at the Iron Rail Bed and Breakfast.

I saw many things that I would like to purchase. There were lovely spring wreaths. The owner, a beautiful lady, gave me the hours that the shop is open. I will visit again over the weekend when I have time to peruse the many unique items. In the summer, the shop also sells old fashioned Sundaes and other ice cream delicacies.
I hope that you enjoyed the activities of our local Red Hat Society! I am anticipating purchasing a new Spring red hat!!!

Oh, this place is a treasure trove! I could definitely spend a long afternoon browsing and most likely buying at least a couple of items! Vintage shops are my weakness! I'm so glad you and your 'Red Hat' friends had such a nice day.

Looking at those pictures -so quaint, so many really nice things and I saw two cup/saucer sets in one picture that really appealed to me. No, I wouldn't be able to purchase them mainly cause I have no room, no place at all left in my china cupboard for another single solitary thing! But boy, if I had a shelf where I could "safely" display the cups/saucers I already have and ith room to put up more, I'd be all over those items if there were affordable to my price range. Which probably, I'm betting, they are not in that range but dang, I can dream anyway, can't I?

I enjoyed your pictures. It's fun getting together with friends and I have a soft spot for antiques and such. The stove reminded me of the one we are hoping to put into our cabin once it's built. there's a company called Elmira Stove Works that makes gas, lectric and combination gas and elec stoves but they are made to look like the old cast iron ones from many years ago! They're pricy but I really hope it works out for us to have one!

Enjoy your weekend, may it be blessed and you as well!

Hope you will post about your shopping spree for your quilting.
Heidi asked me if you know she has a quilting blog too. It is Needleneccessities, you can click on it from my list.
