Happy Blue Monday!

I always look forward to Blue Monday. There are so many wonderful Blogger Friends showing their beautiful arrays of blue. This Blue Monday the contractors will complete installing my floors so I can "spring clean" and rearrange some of my blue lovelies .

These are a few pieces of pottery that I had put away. I had to empty the China cabinet so the contractors could move it. I found things that I forgot that I had. How nice!!!

This "Hill Valley" crock is my favorite piece of pottery. It probably would not be special to anyone except my husband. He was born and raised in rural "Hill Valley." That is where he enjoyed nature, hunted, and went 4-wheeling during his entire life. I don't know that you would ever see"Hill Valley" on a map but it was spectacular to Johnny.

I like to come over here on Mondays and see what you are showing pictures of. You have so many pretty things and I love pottery. I am glad you enjoyed visiting your old friends, too. I bet that Red Hat Cookbook has a lot of good recipes in it.

I just noticed you have family in State College, PA. My mom's from Clearfield -- just down the road a bit. Not too much family still there now though.

Small world, huh?

Sweetie: My friend Kris at http://jessekatedesigns.blogspot.com/ just did a blog on The Red Hat Society. She embroidered some napkins for a birthday luncheon and I thought you might find it interesting. I'll be back to read this post later as I'm only on a short break at work but the pictures look lovely! I just love blue in dishes.
