A Gift from God

We celebrated "Family Sunday" this week. I bribed Ashley into letting me take her picture. She said that she was miserable and that she hoped February 22 would arrive quickly so that she would have her baby daughter. But little did she know......

Ashley's and Justin's beautiful baby daughter was to be born sooner than expected. She arrived a little early - February 9.

Isn't Haylee Sherryann a beautiful baby?

Daddy and Mommy love her so very much. Big brother Mason is anxious to have Mommy and Baby come home. Daddy and Mommy are both oh so tired!

Yes - tired but so very, very happy.

I am so very happy, proud, and thrilled to have another beautiful great-grandchild!! A baby is a gift from God.

Baby
WHERE did you come from, baby dear?
Out of the everywhere into the here.
Where did you get those eyes so blue?
Out of the sky as I came through.
What makes the light in them sparkle and spin?
Some of the starry spikes left in.
Where did you get that little tear?
I found it waiting when I got here.
What makes your forehead so smooth and high?
A soft hand strok’d it as I went by.
What makes your cheek like a warm white rose?
I saw something better than any one knows.
Whence that three-corner’d smile of bliss?
Three angels gave me at once a kiss.
Where did you get this pearly ear?
God spoke, and it came out to hear.
Where did you get those arms and hands?
Love made itself into bonds and bands.
Feet, whence did you come, you darling things?
From the same box as the cherubs’ wings.
How did they all just come to be you?
God thought about me, and so I grew.
But how did you come to us, you dear?
God thought about you, and so I am here.

What a great time of celebration! Your granddaughter and grandson-in-law look so proud and life is so full of promise.

PS: Ashley didn't look THAT big. What a beauty she is.

Haylee Sherryanne is so very precious and absolutely gorgeous! As I read the poem, I thought of your precious Sherry and how she had seen her little granddaughter long before any of you. How she had kissed those sweet lips and left her tough there for all of you. What a blessing and time of joy and celebration for your family! Thank you so very much for sharing it with us!

She is a beautiful baby! I believe that there's nothing that brings heaven closer to us in this life than a new baby, and what a precious glimpse of heaven she is! I'm glad that everything went well for them and the baby is here safely. You have such a special loving family and I'm glad they live close enough that you could see the baby so soon!

Hi Sweetie, ;)

I'm trying to remember the name of the bushes in our front pots. I can't..... I'll research it and get back to you on it.

They bloom beautiful Yellow flowers in The Spring if that helps.

Happy Valentines Day!
